2024 Champions
Larry Nachman
Larry has spent a lifetime in the pursuit of lasting youth. Trained in yoga and the original pilates method, Larry makes floor work the foundation of his approach – exercising muscles to full extension. To this, he adds resistance training and an attention to nutrition.
He says that too many people have outdated expectations of the aging process, equating getting older with getting weaker. Larry started body-building at age 13, but through the decades that followed, he came to learn that focusing on the frame that holds the muscle may be even more important to health and enjoyable longevity.
“Don’t let age change you,” he says. “Change the way you age, and you will get younger as you grow older.”
At age 87, Larry Nachman stands as living proof that, as he says, “We can stay young far longer than has been previously known.”

If you think about it, you probably know a Champion.
A Champion may even be you. Nominate yourself or someone you know—like a relative, co-worker or neighbor—as a Peoples Health Champion.
