Criteria
If you think about it, you probably know a Champion. A Champion may even be you. Nominate yourself or someone you know—like a relative, co-worker or neighbor—as a Peoples Health Champion.
Don’t let an amazing achievement go unnoticed! Nominating someone is easy. Complete the online nomination form here.
A Peoples Health Champion is someone who:
- Used his or her life experiences to perform an amazing achievement after the age of 65.
- Is a current resident of Louisiana.
Champions are not recognized for a lifetime of achievement. They are not selected for what they have done in the past. They do not inspire us through achievement in spite of their age.
Champions are recognized for achievement after age 65. They are selected for what they are doing now. They inspire us through achievement enabled by their age.
